We are looking for an
Application Infrastructure Architect
in our Budapest office.
The Job:
- Define, specify a company standard application development environment for the various developer teams of the company, using mostly JAVA and related technologies. / This is not a classical application development position/
- Create a professional integrated development environment, which integrates the code repository and related functions, UML design tools, the Java code editor with various plug-ins, connection to the automated build procedure and the change management systems.
- Define the build and deployment procedure of the Java components and applications; therefore her/his involvement to the design and fine-tuning of the Web application environment is needed. (few coding might be needed)
- Define technology and development platform to use in the specific project
We are looking for engineers with large experience in development, deployment and fine-tuning of Java applications in various environments. The ideal candidate has to have a thorough understanding of the JAVA technology and shall be passionate about building such applications.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Broad knowledge of the JAVA technology using various application servers
- Hands on experience with JAVA development tools (Eclipse, Ant, JAVA IDEs)
- Hands on experience in operating, installing, configuring and fine-tuning Perforce or Subversion version control systems (repositories)
- Very good understanding of the automated build and deployment procedures
- Administration level knowledge of at least one of the Linux distributions (RedHat is preferred)
- Experience in creating tailor-made development environments, involvement in creation of desktop builds or packages is an asset
- Experience with fine-tuning the MS Visual Studio is an asset
- More than 5 years relevant experience in IT
