Lead for Network Engineering Team
The job:
This is a leader for our Network Engineering team, with responsibility for LAN and WAN engineering,plus remote computing technology and network security.
Require some Unix experience and you will work closely with colleagues doing similar platform engineering for Linux, Windows and Storage
Be a key part of building, from the ground upwards, an enterprise wide and globally distributed IT infrastructure.
Be expert engineer, working with colleagues in Europe, USA and other global locations to create a world-class platform.
The requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Experience managing a small team
- Design/Engineering and Operations: LAN as a specialism, WAN as advantage
- Deep understanding of failure scenarios
- Experience in Network Security, Cisco
- Preferable current CCNP and/or CCDP Certification
- Experience in network Monitoring Infrastructure (SNMP, CiscoWorks, HP OpenView, Nagios, …)
- More than 6 years professional computer networking experience
- More than 8 years experience in IT
- Fluent English
