For their Budapest office we seek a
Lead Enterprise System Architect
The person will be part of the team, based in Budapest with the responsibility to create and support a completely new infrastructure platform for the entire firm using leading edge commercial and open-source products, building from the ground upwards, an enterprise wide and globally distributed IT infrastructure
The task includes:
- As member of the Enterprise and Client Technology (ECT) group, is responsible for the design, coordinate the integration and deployment of various enterprise scale solutions
- Design of the information flow between the key enterprise level applications (Active Directory, Corporate Directory, e-mail backbone, Exchange servers, HR systems, authentication and authorization systems, 3rd party and proprietary applications using various technologies like Java and .NET)
- Be the technical leader of an engineering team, coordinates and supervises the design and implementation activities in multiple parallel projects, and will also work closely with the members of the Infrastructure Engineering group, as well as the IT Security team
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or related discipline
- Broad experience in to integration projects using various technologies and platforms in the role of a technical architect
- Project and team management skills in coordinating a technical team of 5-15 engineers
- Demonstrated multi-project execution skills
- Experience in system and architecture design
- designing service based architectures
- High level system architecture design, entity diagrams and logical design skills
- Design of dataflow and signaling protocols
- Design of logical data structures
- Demonstrated skills in some of the technologies listed below:
- Unix/Linux system engineering
- Windows system engineering
- Enterprise level E-mail solutions (Unix backbone)
- Enterprise level E-mail solutions (Microsoft Exchange server)
- LDAP integration
- Virus and spam filtering solutions
- Microsoft SharePoint solutions
- Microsoft SQL Server solutions
- WEB application architectures and protocols
- Relational Database Management systems (DB2, Sybase, MS-SQL, Oracle)
- Application development experience in any of the following environments:
- Microsoft C#, VB, VBScript
- Java
- C/C++
- More than 7 years relevant experience in IT
- Fluent English (both written and spoken) is a must
